We now dance throughout the year at Santa Clarita Senior Center,
22900 Market Street, Santa Clarita, CA  (Directions) (Second Fridays)

The Sierra Hillbillies Square Dance Club will begin a new series of
“Basic” lessons in a new Square Dance Class.
The Tuesday night class starts September 9, from 7-9 p.m. at the
Mitchell Elementary School, Canyon Country, CA.

The first class is free to all and a great opportunity to experience America’s folk dance in an enjoyable, fun atmosphere; refreshments are provided.
Square dancing is gaining popularity worldwide as a great fitness activity.
A square dance is equivalent to walking five miles and a lot more fun;
it’s also good for maintaining mental acuity.
Subsequent classes are $5 per night per dancer.
Square Dance lessons run for 10 weeks per level, plus a class party. No partner is necessary; angel dancers will pair up with you to help you learn the calls.
